Size chart

Our shoes run larger than most other vintage production and fashion brands, however most customers have found that they fit their normal size in our shoes.

If you are a half size, please size down.

You can use the charts below to get an idea of which size may suit you best, however please keep in mind other factors like width and instep height also contribute to the right fitting size. We recommend choosing your normal size which you wear in similar upper-end fashion flats/heels (i.e. not fast fashion, sports shoes or Doc Martens style boots)

Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee a perfect fit and our guide below is only a guide. Many factors beyond just foot length contribute to a size, which we cannot predict perfectly 100% of the time. If you find that the size that you choose based on our chart is not quite right, please note that we do not reimburse you for the cost of return shipping.

      SIZING FAQ

Q: How do your shoes compare in sizing to other brands?
Most customers say our shoes run true to size, however if you are used to wearing fast fashion shoes like Zara and H&M which run small, our shoe sizing will feel larger than theirs. Compared to other vintage reproduction brands, our sizing is fairly similar. Please DO NOT compare your sneaker size to find your size in our shoes, as sneaker sizing is very different.

        Q: I have wide feet/high arches/bunions/swelling - should I size up?
If you're not a half size, we normally don't recommend sizing up a whole size as this could mean you have a shoe that is too long for your foot. We recommend choosing one of our wider fitting styles - Montpellier, Elba or Singapore- and spending time softening and stretching the upper.

Q: My shoes feel really tight! Should I size up?
If they feel too tight in length, we recommend exchanging for a size up. If it is only the width that is tight, you can exchange them for a wider fitting style (Montpellier, Elba or Singapore), or you can stretch and soften the upper. Use our hairdryer+socks trick for an easy and painless method of stretching out your new shoes.

Q: My shoes feel a bit loose! Should I size down?
Move your feet forward so they feel comfortable in the front part of the shoe. If you have 1.5cm or more in the back heel, then please exchange for a size down. If you have about 1cm or less in the back, please use an insole or heel grip (a size down might be too tight both length and width wise).

        How to measure your feet

Foot length should be based on the length that your foot reaches in a straight line - not from the heel to toe at a diagonal (see our Guide for Measuring Your Foot Length here).

          How much is shipping?
🌎 Enjoy FREE worldwide shipping for a limited time!
For US orders, a $10 USD tariff fee will apply to help us cover some of the duty/taxes that we will do our best to subsidise most of.

          How long will dispatch take?
We aim to dispatch your order within 2-3 business days, however it may be slightly longer during peak times like Black Friday/Christmas, or when we have a large number of orders come through.

          How long will delivery take?
Usually about 8-15 business days from dispatch to arrive for most regions. Please note more remote/rural areas will require more time. Please also allow an extra 1 or 2 weeks for delivery during high peak seasons (like Black Friday, Christmas)

What are customs duties/taxes and will I be charged them?
For those living in Canada, South America and Africa the local customs office may charge a small duties and tax fee on international parcels. You will be required to pay them directly to your local courier or customs office before your parcel is released for delivery. Any parcels returned to us due to refusal to pay the fee may incur a restocking and return postage fee of $20 USD.

For some locations in Europe, we have acquired shipping lines (for regular shipping only) that will exempt you from these fees, meaning you will not be required to pay any customs duties/VAT. You can check your zipcode below.

Why does my shoebox have postage labels and tape on it?
To cut our cardboard waste by more than 45%, we designed a durable shoebox that acts as a shipping carton so there is no excess use of cardboard. If you order 1 pair of shoes, it will be shipped by itself with no extra box to contain it, meaning it will have some tape and postage labels on it.

If you have ordered 1 pair of shoes as a gift or want to keep the shoebox in new condition to keep, you may request to have it shipped in an extra carton to protect it from postage labels. Simply click the 'Add' button next to 'Send as a Gift' in the cart.

Why is my tracking not showing any update?
Tracking information is dependent on the parcel going through scanned facilities. If your parcel has not moved in a few days, please allow some time as this usually means it is in transit and has not yet reached its next scanning point. We will contact you if we notice anything unusual with your parcel's progress.

I forgot to collect my parcel in time - now what?
We will contact you with the local courier contact information. Please contact them ASAP and ask them for a redelivery of your parcel. Any goods not received due to late collection will only be resent upon the repayment of $10 USD postage.

Do you deliver to PO boxes?
Yes, we can ship to PO boxes however the delivery time is slightly slower due to the courier that we must use that allows for PO box deliveries.

I am just delighted with my purchase. As I walk a lot on hard city streets and have a wide foot, I ordered one size up. From day one I have been able to wear them all day and all night with no rubs, blisters or issues, with or without socks or stockings. The leather across the toe area is soft even though it is a double layer of leather. If your foot is on the narrower side, I would order your normal size.
The colours are true to what is shown in the photographs, and for my clothing styles, I find the two tones work with many outfits. I have received multiple comments and enquiries about the Parisienne.
After a short wait for more Pariesiennes to be manufactured, the service up dates and delivery time was very quick

Why Our Leather Shoes Feel Hard at First – And Why That’s a Good Thing

We get it — you open your beautiful new pair of Charlie Stone shoes, slip them on, and... they feel a little stiff. Maybe even too stiff. But don’t worry — that firmness isn’t a flaw. It’s actually one of the best indicators that your shoes are made with real, high-quality leather.
