How does the preorder work?
From 5th June you can preorder before the official release on 30th July. From 30th July your order will be shipped.
What if I need an exchange of size?
If you find you need to exchange for a different size, contact firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days of receiving the shoes. If we do not have your size in stock, we will provide a store credit or refund.
I've changed my mind - can I get a refund or exchange?
Unfortunately no, we do not do exchanges or refunds for change of mind.
What's my size?
All models from Collection 3 are true to size and regular width fitting. Please see our Size Chart for international sizing conversions.
I own one of your previous models - do these fit the same?
If you own the Kathryn, these models will be similar in fit but may not require as much time to stretch and wear in.
If you own the Peta or Marisa, these models will be smaller in fit as the Peta and Marisa ran large and had extra wide fitting. If you own the Peta or Marisa and they have a bit of room at the tip/front of the shoe or are a bit loose in fit (around a quarter to half a size extra space), you can get the same size in the new styles and wear them in to the right fit. If you own the Peta or Marisa and they are a snug/tight fit, your feet fill up the shoe entirely and your toes reach the front/tip of the shoe, you will need to go up one size in the new styles.
What if I order the wrong size by accident?
If you order the wrong size by accident, contact email@example.com ASAP and we will amend your order.
What happens if you run out of my size?
We have very limited stock for this collection and we have no plans to restock these styles immediately as we work on bringing out new designs. However if you want to request your desired style to come back in stock, let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will add you to a wish list - sometimes we will sell display and sample pairs at a discounted price, or if we get enough interest we will restock them!
We have improved the insole cushioning to have extra padding for comfort, and the bottom soles are now a high quality rubber material which has a smooth 'leather like' feel to it so they will be more durable on wet surfaces and you can feel safer on slippery surfaces.
Are these dance shoes?
While Charlie Stone was initially created to cater for dancers, we no longer design our shoes for the use of dancing as we wanted to open up our designs to all women looking for comfortable vintage style flats. While we do not advertise as such, many of our customers still use our shoes for dancing. Please note if you do choose to buy these for dancing, the bottom soles are a smooth rubber which may not be suitable for twisting and spinning. The new rubber soles are smooth and feel similar in touch to the leather soles. On a typical wooden dance floor, they are faster than Keds but slower than suede and leather.
